Il cammino ha una lunghezza complessiva di 80 km ed \u00e8 suddiviso in quattro tappe.<br><br>\u201cQuesto primo cammino di prova sar\u00e0 fondamentale per verificare il percorso e apporre la prima segnaletica\u201d spiega il project manager per la Basilica di Aquileia Mattia Vecchi, che aggiunge \u201cIl cammino \u00e8 ormai pronto e presto potr\u00e0 essere percorso dai pellegrini che avranno modo di gustare le bellezze del territorio trasfrontaliero approfondendone la storia, le radici, le ferite, le cicatrici e la sua rinascita\u201d.<br><br>Nel primo giorno di cammino gli organizzatori hanno affrontato i primi 28 km dedicati alle \u201cradici\u201d partendo da Aquileia fino ad arrivare a Sagrado. Oggi invece hanno affrontato la seconda tappa, dedicata alle \u201cferite\u201d con i suoi 22 km da Sagrado al Castello di Merna.<br><br>\u201cDomani \u00e8 prevista la terza tappa con partenza alle ore 8.00 dal Castello di Merna dedicata alle \u201ccicatrici\u201d e con l\u2019arrivo a Gorizia, mentre domenica verr\u00e0 affrontata l\u2019ultima tappa dedicata alla \u201crinascita\u201d che prevede l\u2019attraversamento delle due Gorizie e  l\u2019ultimo tratto in salita fino all\u2019arrivo a Sveta Gora.
